Penn State’s $700 million renovation of Beaver Stadium is well underway, and with the 2025 season already kicked off, fans are experiencing the results of a unique solution: modular infrastructure.

Why Modular Matters at Beaver Stadium
To preserve capacity, revenue, and the game-day atmosphere while the west side is rebuilt, Penn State partnered with InProduction. Ahead of the season opener, our crews completed installation of:
9,500 temporary seats, keeping capacity above 106,000.
1,500 square feet of press facilities, supporting seamless coverage.
2,400 square feet of hospitality space, maintaining premium fan experiences.
These installations ensure Beaver Stadium remains one of the loudest and most iconic venues in college football throughout renovation.
The U.S. Debut of SPACECUBE
This season also marks the U.S. debut of SPACECUBE, modular structures originally developed in Australia. Already in place at Beaver Stadium, SPACECUBES house broadcast booths on the stadium’s west side and support new fan and sponsor activations, including the Bud Light Backyard outside Gate F.
Designed to connect quickly and efficiently, SPACECUBE provides flexible, high-quality spaces that adapt to multiple uses—an ideal fit for Penn State’s balance of tradition and innovation.
Designing Experience Through Transition
For Penn State, the goal was clear: keep the sound, energy, and scale of Beaver Stadium intact even while construction continues. Temporary seating and modular spaces made that possible without compromise.
This project highlights what modular infrastructure does best: bridging gaps during construction, creating safe and scalable capacity, and enhancing experiences for fans, sponsors, and media in complex environments.
With the 2025 season underway, Penn State fans are already seeing—and feeling—the impact of modular infrastructure. As Beaver Stadium moves toward its next chapter, InProduction is proud to help ensure the atmosphere remains one of the most electric in sports.
