Jason Tedrow Promoted to CEO of InProduction as John Campanelli Announces Retirement

CHICAGO, November 16, 2021 — John Campanelli, InProduction CEO, announced his retirement, effective January 1, 2022. Jason Tedrow, InProduction President and COO, will assume the CEO role, leading InProduction’s growth as the preeminent U.S. provider of temporary seating, staging, flooring, tenting, and scenic services for the event industry. “Jason joined InProduction in 2018 with the plan that he would succeed me at the appropriate time,” said Campanelli. “Having worked together to successfully guide InProduction through the dramatic downturn in events as a result of the pandemic, we are now heading into a year of record sales. I have decided that no better time exists to transition out and let Jason lead our sales and operations teams to drive InProduction to new levels of success. The team knows and respects Jason, and we are fortunate to have this seamless transition as we continue to innovate and gain traction in the industry.”

Jason Tedrow brings over 25 years of operations, logistics, and supply chain leadership experience across multiple industries. Most recently, he served as President and COO of InProduction, overseeing all aspects of our operations and ensuring that all projects are executed safely and efficiently while meeting and exceeding our customers’ expectations. “Over the past three years, John has mentored me to take over this role,” said Tedrow, “and I’m confident that we will continue the tradition of excellence that is associated with our company. There is no doubt in my mind that our team will deliver record-breaking growth in 2022 and continued success for years to come.”

An engineer by education, Campanelli demonstrated the ability to simultaneously lead his companies’ daily operations and build business to record levels. At R. R. Donnelley & Sons Company, he built a $1 billion logistics business within the printing giant. In 2004, he jumped over to the event rentals industry and led the sales growth of Classic Party Rentals to $250 million. Starting in 2015, he engineered the creation of InProduction and built it into the pre-eminent provider of seating, staging, and structures for the United States events industry. This endeavor included integrating the strategic acquisitions of SGA Production Services, T&B Equipment Inc., NUSSLI U.S., CommuniLux Productions, and Seating Solutions, as well as the expansion of services to include structures and modular stadiums. Campanelli has served on the boards of BBJ Linen, PEAK Event Services, CE Rental, and Marquee Event Services. His legacy includes the people he has influenced and the lives he has changed as a result of the businesses he built, companies acquired and clients served.
